YES. THE Eurovision Trophy. Won by Sweden. This man was 2 rows ahead of me on the flight home and part of the Swedish delegation. The trophy was being transported wrapped in a jacket & inside his Eurovision bag. Crazy times.
Later on when we were getting off the plane I asked him if I could touch the trophy, and he said yes. Wow. Oh. Wow.
Wow oh wow! The trophy has been Jedified!
It was a hard pill to swallow for the entire team but once again John and Edward showed their absolute professionalism by accepting their 19th position graciously and with a smile on their faces. Their first port of call on the night was to go right up to Swedish winner Loreen and congratulate her on her winning performance which shows what I’ve been saying all along – these boys are true professionals.
Backing vocalist Leanne Moore wraps up her Baku experience with these lovely words.
There’s been so much drama about the twins not winning Eurovision this year and it seems people have forgotten that the twins career doesn’t rely on Eurovision Success. Here are 5 reasons fans shouldn’t feel bad about Eurovision:
1) 120 million people around Europe watched this show plus the…
All these things! With the news of the Xtra Factor hosting gig, the second series of Big Adventure and all the new album goodness, there’s so much to be excited about now.
Remember what happened to Blue when they represented the UK at last year’s Eurovision? Due to their huge fanbase, they did incredibly well with the televotes, coming fifth. But conversely, they had a lousy result in the jury vote, putting them right down the other end - 22 out of 25. Combining the two, Blue ended up in 14th place over all.
I think something similar has happened with Ireland. I bet Jedward did well with the televotes but missed out with the jury voting. All will be revealed when Eurovision release this data in a few days time.
Russian TV confirmed that the results are fake. Real Eurovision results! IRELAND are 3rd!!! It is true! REBLOG EVERYONE!
Er, those numbers are actually from Australian broadcaster SBS’s annual Eurovision viewer poll. JedGen and Jedward were tweeting about it. And think about it - if Sweden had only received 72,186 votes out of all the millions of viewers across Europe, something would be seriously wrong with Eurovision.

I had this horrible thought while watching Ireland.
There’s probably Jedward fanfiction.
What the hell does it say?
John looked at Edward longingly
“Oh my god Edward you’re like, so awesome and cute and everything I just love you you’re like so special and you’re just so cool”
“Oh my god I feel TOTALLY the same! Lets order pizza!”
Every now and then someone jokes about the Jedwards being secret lovers and it doesn’t even occur to them that this sort of fanfic is actually a significant part of the fandom. This time, however, the thought has occurred.
